Canadian Au Pair

Do you love caring for and teaching children? Would you like to live and work overseas in a secure environment?

Have you ever thought about experiencing a country where the west meets the east while you earn money?

Become a  Nanny  / Teacher  in Turkey.

Nannies

The key to a successful working relationship between a Nanny and her Employer is flexibility, from both sides. The exact requirements, working conditions and remuneration package will differ from family to family. The information contained in the subsequent paragraphs is therefore only a guideline and recommendation.

Qualifications:

In order to apply for a Nanny position you should preferably be qualified, though it is not essential. You must however be experienced and have good, contactable references.

Duties:

img Bathing, dressing children
img Preparing meals and feeding children
img Ensuring that children arrive safely and timeously at school and other activities
img Assisting the children with homework, and generally with their intellectual, social and emotional development
img Washing and ironing the children's clothes
img Keeping the children's bedrooms and cupboards clean and tidy.

Some families may ask you to some light housework, but make sure that you are aware of this and if you agree to it, ensure that specific duties are agreed upon before you commence employment with a family. You may also be asked to teach English to the children of your host family.
Each family is interviewed and their home carefully inspected by our consultants before they are accepted onto the programme.

Salaries:

Salaries vary, depending on qualifications, experience, ability to speak English and the capacity within which you are employed. The following will however provide a guideline:

500 CDN $ - 650 CDN $/week net (live in)
600 CDN $- 800 CDN $/week net (live out)

Working Hours:

Working hours should be decided between yourself and the Employer, prior to you accepting a position with the family. Typical working hours will be between 40 to 60 hours per week. Some babysitting and occasional assistance on a Saturday or Sunday may be agreed, but fair warning should be given.
